They also do not contain any preservatives, flavourings or colourings. Cookies for healthy teeth also contain kelp and chlorella. Chlorella has a disinfectant effect in the oral cavity and eliminates bacteria and odour. It has a beneficial effect on tooth enamel and also helps with periodontal disease. Kelp is used due to its high iodine and vitamin content, which promotes a healthy metabolism and prevents the deposition of plaque and subsequently tartar on the teeth and gums.
